As a dynamic and diligent cameraman, Marton is renowned for his open-mindedness, team-oriented approach, and proficiency across diverse sectors.

Engagement at ABC Queensland

Marton’s expertise was showcased as an ENG Cameraman at ABC Queensland, contributing significantly to prominent programs like ABC News24, 7.30, Australian Story, and Landline. His skills were instrumental in EFP and OB broadcasts during the Queensland and New South Wales floods and the aftermath, displaying versatility as a camera operator and links operator at ABC.

Significant Contributions to Major Networks

Marton’s impactful career includes roles as an ENG Cameraman for various acclaimed programs on ABC News24, 7.30, Australian Story, and Foreign Correspondent. His contributions extended to SBS News and Small Business Secrets, as well as CNN’s Quest Means Business. He adeptly handled diverse responsibilities in EFP/OB Broadcasts during elections, DRUM OB, and the Black Summer Bushfire.

International Experience

His career spans beyond borders, encompassing a significant period as a Senior Cameraman at Magyar Televizio, the Hungarian National Broadcaster. Marton led ENG/SNG camerawork for Hirado (Facts – News Program) and directed the Szempont weekly news magazine, along with contributing to Delta (Science magazine). His experience at MTV, Hungary’s National Television, encompassed pivotal roles in news and studio operations.

Marton’s commitment to professional growth is evident through his qualifications. He holds a D.O.P. from the University of Pécs and the H.S.C. (2005), focusing on cinematography. A member of the Hungarian Society of Cinematographers since 2000, he recently became a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2021.
